In line with Government recommendations to protect clients and staff during the current COVID-19 pandemic, The Irish Risk Management Centre has taken appropriate measures for your safety and comfort during your annual Driver CPC training. It's important that you are aware of these before your visit. They include the following:

Social distancing: Participants will be seated at least two metres apart and at individual tables.

Hand sanitizers: Hand Sanitising stations are situated at building entrance and exit points for your use.

One way system: We have a one way system in place to enter & exit the training room. You will see this clearly marked.

No refreshments provided: Unfortunately, we're not in a position to provide tea, coffee etc at this time. These will be available at local outlets. We would also ask you to bring drinking water as our dispensers are not in use.

Table Numbering: Each table is numbered and participants will be issued with their table number before training. When arriving, we would ask all CPC clients to enter the building, sanitise their hands and continue directly to the CPC training room where you will find all your personal training information at your numbered table (see attached room plan here).

Your CPC trainer will explain all safety measures on the day. Face coverings will not be required as we will have appropriate distancing measures in place (Participants are welcome to use face coverings if they choose) We would ask all participants to practice good cough & sneeze etiquette.

These measures are in place for your safety and comfort. We appreciate your cooperation with this and we look forward to welcoming you on the day. Please contact us if you have any specific queries on this.

COMMISSION STATEMENT

J.F.Dunne Insurances Ltd act as intermediary (Broker) between you, the consumer, and the product provider with whom we place your business.

The Background

Pursuant to provision 4.58A of  the Central Bank of Ireland’s September 2019 Addendum to the Consumer Protection Code, all intermediaries, must make available in their public offices, or on their website if they have one, a summary of the details of all arrangements for any fee, commission, other reward or remuneration provided to the intermediary which it has agreed with its product producers.

What is Remuneration?

Remuneration is the payment earned by the intermediary for work undertaken on behalf of both the provider and the consumer.   The amount of remuneration is generally directly related to the value of the products sold.

What is Commission?

Commission is payment that may be earned by an intermediary for work undertaken for both provider and consumer.

General Insurance Products

General insurance products, such as motor, home, travel, health, retail or liability insurance, are typically subject to a single or standard commission model, based on the amount of premium charged for the insurance product.

Profit Share Arrangements

In some cases, the intermediary may be a party to a profit-share arrangement with a product provider and will earn additional commission.  Any business arranged with these product providers on a client’s behalf will be placed with the product provider because that product provider is at the time of placement, the most suitable to meet the client’s requirements, taking all the client’s relevant information, demands and needs into account.

Other Fees, Administrative Costs/ Non-Monetary Benefits

The firm may also be in receipt of other fees, administrative costs, or non-monetary benefits such as attendance at product provider seminars and assistance with advertising/branding
